Questions we get about South Carolina
- How do you value a Marsh Tacky?
- Against the few documented Marsh Tacky sales there are, and then on the horse's own training and soundness. It is a rare breed, and the report says how much the rarity itself carried.
- Is a steeplechase horse valued like a flat racehorse?
- Partly. Its jump racing record matters most, and its second career as a hunter or event horse sets a floor under the number once it retires.
