Horse appraisal in Montana.
Our team appraises horses all over Montana, and in every other state besides. We see mostly ranch horses and NCHA horses here, though plenty of rodeo horses cross the desk too, and the process doesn't change from one to the next.
Rocky Mountain College in Billings offers equestrian studies. Montana's therapy programs will look at a ranch-broke horse any day of the week.
Questions we get about Montana
- How do you value a horse sold with the ranch?
- Separately, if the appraisal is going to be useful. A ranch sale can fold the horses into one price, and an estate or a donation needs each horse's value stated on its own.
- Do you appraise pack strings?
- Yes. Each horse is valued, and we note when a horse is worth more in the string it knows than it would be alone. That is a real effect and it belongs in the report.
