Questions we get about Florida
- Should our appraisal be dated during the Wellington season?
- Only if that's the date the law requires. For a donation it's the transfer date, for an estate it's the date of death. If you get to choose, say so and we will tell you honestly what each date supports.
- Does a Florida horse hold its value in summer?
- The horse does. The market thins. A written appraisal states an effective date for exactly this reason, and a number from February doesn't automatically describe August.
